We are deeply saddened to share that Barbara Ann Howard, age 92, passed away on November 13, 2025. Born in San Antonio, Texas, and a longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Barbara lived a life marked by devotion to family, strength of spirit, and a gentle heart that touched all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to send flowers, share memories, and offer condolences as they honor her remarkable life.

As Barbara leaves our earthly home, her presence lingers warmly in the lives she shaped. Her memory rises like a quiet constellation—steady, bright, and enduring—guiding those who loved her with the light of her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Though she no longer walks beside us, the legacy she created continues through the generations she nurtured.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ivy Cordova, and by her beloved husband, Leonard W. Howard. She is survived by her sisters, Katherine Scheppler and Nancy Teilmann, both of San Antonio; her children, Patricia Riggs (Billy) of Dripping Springs, Dana W. Howard (Roxanne) of Stockdale, and Corey W. Howard (Julie) of Corpus Christi.

She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, each carrying forward a piece of her love. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. A committal service will take place from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
