The Cal State Fullerton community and the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha are mourning the tragic loss of Destiny Morris, a beloved student and cherished member of the Theta Phi Chapter, who passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, following an accident in Fullerton, California. Destiny’s presence on campus and within her sorority was a source of joy, warmth, and connection for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her ZTA sisters remember Destiny as someone whose bright smile and infectious laughter could transform any space she entered. She carried an uplifting positivity that inspired others to do the same. Melissa Hashem, Vice President of Campus Relations and incoming Chapter President, shared that Destiny had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued, supported, and seen. Her kindness, compassion, and effortless ability to encourage others were qualities that made her truly unforgettable.
Destiny’s passing leaves a profound void within her sorority, her university, and the broader community.
