To know Craig Lewis was to love him. His presence had a way of filling any room with warmth, humor, and an unshakable sense of belonging. Losing him has left an ache in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share even a moment of his life. For me, Craig was the brother I never had. Growing up together created a bond that time, distance, or circumstance could never break. The weekends he spent at our house were among the greatest joys of my childhood, memories that have stayed vivid and treasured through every phase of life.
Craig’s kindness extended effortlessly to the next generation. My children adored him, not only for the laughter he brought but for the unique, affectionate connection he formed with each of them. They will forever hold close the playful nicknames he gave them — “Mac n Cheese Boy” and “Little Sister” — small reminders of the big heart that defined him.
Craig’s spirit was one of generosity, loyalty, and love. His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, yet his impact lives on in every story told, every smile remembered, and every bond strengthened by his example. I will miss him beyond measure, more deeply than words can ever fully capture. Fly high, Craig. May you find peace, and may you wrap your arms around the family waiting to welcome you home. Until we meet again.
